The Southern California Dance Connection (SDCD) is a free newsletter that provides information on current dance events and performances in Southern California. Issues are published three times a year, in January, June and September, and contain listings from SCDC subscribers as well as an extensive dance calendar of performances.

Who are the members?
The members are dancers, teachers and choreographers such as yourself.  All you have to do is Subscribe to the membership list and you will begin to receive the newsletter as well as submission notices.  Membership is free.

What is the mission of this newsletter?
The mission of the SCDC is to bring information to dancers, choreographers and teachers about dance events, performances, auditions, master classes, or any other information that SCDC members deem important for the dance community. Articles relating to dance or reviews of performances can also be submitted by members for publication. The SCDC membership community grows through a self-generating list of dance teachers, students, choreographers and dance enthusiasts in Southern California and around the US. When you forward information about SCDC to your friends they can also become part of the SCDC community. Membership is free and all subscribers have the opportunity to submit listings prior to the publication of each newsletter.

But I don't want to be bombarded with more SPAM!
You won't be.  Members' email addresses are not released publically nor shown to the other members.  The only emails you will receive will be the newsletter and the advance notices asking for your submissions.
